Eat Your Red Grapes

What do red wine and red grapes have in common? A chemical called Resveratrol, a plant compound known as a polphenol. Confused yet? Poly phenols are compounds that can potentially fight cancer on two fronts. They stimulate protective enzymes and destroy harmful ones, and they are potent antioxidants; compounds that help your body stay young and protect the body from harmful diseases. So why resveratrol? It can help you live longer by producing an enzyme called SIR1 which triggers “survival” genetic pathways that lower blood pressure, enhance fat metabolism, improve blood sugar levels, cleanse the heart and liver tissues, and increase insulin sensitivity. In other words, your body acts like a younger, leaner, stronger you! Resverterol is found in the vines, roots, seeds, and skins of grapes, but don’t think that drinking wine every night will provide you with this disease fighting polyphenol. You would have to drink 1,000 glasses of wine to reap resverterol’s life-enhancing benefits. So Maria recommends eating grapes as a main fruit in the diet in addition to taking either Resveratrol capsules by Enzymatic Therapy Enzymatic Therapy and Inflamma-Less by Irwin Naturals which contains Omega-3 Oils for Joint Health and Prolytic enzymes and Resveratrol.
